Seeing a friendly face, but is the person behind the face really friendly?

Logan chuckled when she splashed him. "All right, we've done enough swimming for today." He said, carrying her out of the pool.

He grabbed a fresh towel and placed it over her shoulders. "You might need that." He said, smirking before grabbing his own and drying off.

He placed the towel on his shoulders as he and Kara, who had the towel around her waist, walked back into the mansion. Logan stopped when he saw who was sitting on the couch.

She was sitting there, looking at the ground, lost in thought.

Logan looked at Kara, before letting go of her hand and walking over to the girl sitting on the couch.

"Hey, kid. Fancy seeing you here." He said, causing Rogue to jump.

"Logan, you scared meh." Rogue/Mystique said, pulling on one of her white bangs a little.

Logan felt something was off with her. He smirked. "I thought I taught you to always keep your guard up." He stated, watching her.

Kara smiled, holding his hand as they walked in. When he stopped, she stopped, looking at the strange girl who looked knew. She tilted her head, it seemed that they knew each other. She walked to the girl, listening to her and Logan speak to each other. Kara smiled at the girl, a welcoming smile. She didn't know what to say.

Rogue/Mystique looked up at him with a playful smirk. "Yah, well, when you've been sent to an alternate universe of your home, your guard gets a little out of wack." She stated, looking away from him.

She looked up to see a blonde woman standing there. "Who're you? The Black Canary Kitty was yapping about?" She asked, sounding a bit rude.

Kara's eyebrow raised up, crossing her arms, "No, I'm Kara. Also known as Supergirl. And yes, I do know you know nothing of me." She had returned the rudeness, seeing a little disgust in the girl's facial expression, "Don't be rude unless you want to get the same treatment back." Her eyes narrowed.

Kitty headed back into the room carrying a glass of lemonade, "Here you go Rogue." She said and looked over at Kara and Mr. Logan, "Did you two like go swimming or something?" She asked with a little grin.

Logan looked at Rogue a little surprised. Usually she didn't revert back to her shell. He got up and went to Kara.

"Don't mind her, she can get that way around strangers." He said, softly to Kara.

When Kitty entered he turned and looked at her. "What does it look like, Half-Pint?" He said.

Mystique noticed her mistake and tried to quickly fix it. "Ah'm sorry, Ah guess Ah'm still shook-en up from earlier..." She said, as Rogue. She looked away, looking like she was actually embarrassed and sorry.

She secretly glared at Kara from behind her hair. She saw the way Wolverine looked at her and it made her blood boil.

Kara had her eyes on the girl, looking up to Logan when he walked to her. When she heard what he said, she nodded, "Okay, If you say so." She then looked at the the girl when she said sorry, "It's okay, I'm sorry to. I just don't like it when someone is being rude to me." She crossed her arms, looking to Kitty with a smile, "Yeah we did go swimming. I was able to push him in the pool." A little giggle came out of her.

"Wait, you managed toshove Mr. Logan in?" Kitty asked while she laughed, she bit her lip and tried to hold her giggles in.

Mystique/Rogue took a drink of her lemonade, only really drinking it to keep herself from saying anything.

She couldn't stand being in that room any longer. "Kitty, Ah'm feeling a little tired, could you show meh where my room is?" She asked, standing up.

Logan glared at Kitty, before Rogue spoke. He looked back at Rogue. "Get some rest, kid, then afterwards you can tell us all that happened, deal?"

"Rogue" looked at him and gave a weak little smile. "Deal..."

Kara looked at the girl, watching Kitty leave with her. She sighed, not knowing what to say about it. Something felt odd when she was rude to Kara. Like she didn't mean the sorry, she looked at Logan, smiling instantly, "Another X-men?" She asked, tightening the towel wrapped around her waist.

Kitty winced as Mr. Logan glared at her and flashed an apologetic smile in his direction, "Oh yeah sure, come on." She said and headed out with a last smile at everyone.

Logan watched the two leave, keeping his eyes on Rogue. "Yeah..." He said, before turning back to Kara.

"There's something off with Rogue. It might be because of whatever happened to her earlier or it's not really her... Keep an eye on her, but don't make it obvious. We want to find out what they're up to. It's not Wade, because he hasn't met Rogue." He whispered to her, in case "Rogue" was still near by.

"Stay sharp. All right?" He told her.

Kara's face went serious, listening to him explain, "I will. And I agree with you, she seems a bit strange. But, you know her better." She shrugged, crossing her arms, completely oblivious to the face her cleavage was showing a good bit now.

Logan glanced down then looked away, putting his hand on his face. "You know..." He said, rubbing his face. "I think you're an accidental tease..." He grumbled look at her with a very slight smirk.

Kara looked up to Logan when he spoke, though she uncrossed her arms when he called her a tease, "Do you want me to change?" She smirked, tilting her head a little.

Logan's smirk grew. "Never." He said, before pulling her close. He kissed her forehead then moved his lips to her ear.

"If you change, you wouldn't be my fly girl anymore." He whispered, while lightly blowing in her ear as he spoke.

Kara giggled, feeling him pull her close. She closed her eyes, feeling his lips on her forehead. She then giggled, hearing him whisper in her ear. Though she winced, blushing fast as he blew in her ear, "L-Logan." She gasped softly.

He smirked then kissed the area in front of her ear. He moved his lips to her cheek, then to her lips. His lips hovered over hers, lightly grazing them.

Kara's eyes stayed closed, feeling warmth get sent down her spine. Her lips opened slightly, as if asking him to kiss her..Her eyes opened, looking at him.

Logan's eyes watched hers as he pulled her closer to him. He closed his eyes before full on kissing her.

It was a sweet kiss that made the world slow down if only for a minute.

He pulled away and smiled softly at her. "You said something about being hungry, right?"

Kara gasped lightly, kissing him, feeling like the world slow down. When he pulled away, she smiled at him. Then laughed, "Right." She smiled.

After they ate, she smiled at him, putting away the dishes. She walked to him, "I'm going to go take a shower, and then change. I'll be in the living room after." She smiled, kissing him softly on the lips. It was a soft, small, passionate kiss. Kara's eyes looked at him as she pulled away, turning around as she went towards her room.
