Worthless.."I do repulse you.."

"I do repulse you."

Those words kept playing over and over her head as she sat against the wall. She covered her eyes, letting herself cry it out before she suddenly kicked the wall.

"I do repulse you."

Her hair covered her face as she cried, feeling stupid and worthless..

Was it all for nothing? Was that love only limited to a certain time..?

Selina heard sobbing, "Hello...?" She whispered before slowly walking out into the living room. She took notice quite quickly that her Laura was crying. Selina quickly ran to Laura's side before kneeling down and placing a hand lightly on her shoulder, "What's wrong, love?"

Laura heard Selina run to her and talk to her..

"What's wrong, love?"

She doesn't hate me?

Laura looked up at her, "A-Adam is repulsed by me..H-He got hurt by the man in charge of this whole place..A-And he no longer has a eyeball..And, that happened because of me..and I can't face him after what I done..And he told me he is repulsed by the way I'm handling this.." Her eyes seemed to water more, "HE GOT HURT BECAUSE OF ME! THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON I WANTED TO BE ALONE! TO HAVE NO ONE CARE FOR ME! B-but...I can't let him go..H-He was the first person to see through my mask and actually care for me..And for him to be repulsed by me.." Her head buried into her knees, crying.

Selina squeezed the girl's shoulder, wrapping her arms around her to let the girl cry on her.

Selina rubbed the crying girl's back as she screamed and yelled in a much deserved rage, "Laura, darling, when you first learned of his mis-deeds with Canary; did you think maybe he might be a womanizer and a loser. Forget the fact he knows how you work..." Selina backed her self up and lightly moved Laura to where they would see eye-to-eye, "Laura, I know how hard it is. Even though you think it's the end of the world just remember, if nothing better, I'll always be here for you. Forget that son of a fucking cunt face asshole. You're a beautiful girl, amazing personality... you don't need some smuck like him to be happy. You have your friends..." 'He had the eye thing coming to him...' she mused internally.

He came back from the town. He walked by the living room, and saw Laura there with Catwoman. He was puzzeled, and just stood there in the doorway. When Laura noticed him he looked away.

Laura had heard someone walk in the living room. When she saw him look away from her, her body froze before she looked away herself. She got up to walk to the kitchen..

Catwoman could almost cut the room's awkwardness with a knife. She looked at Meister, "You messed with important people in my life. I forgave you because Laura asked me not to kill you"... "But I'm not so sure, after what you've done, that I'll not kill you." Selina quickly followed behind Laura, not trusting herself in the room with the man who broke her Laura.

He looked at Catwoman like she was crazy. "What has she been saying to you?" He asked a bit hurt.

"That you... that you are repulsed by her. You're a disgusting little man that have no appreciation from a woman of her fierceness and compassion. I won't ever understand how she could love a man that would spit in her face and call her repulsive."

He looked at her with an expreccion that showed like he had heard that story for the first time. "She.... she thinks I'm repulsed by her??!!" Catwoman nodded. He shook his head. "No I am not repulsed by her." He said as he lifted the eyepatch to show Catwoman the ugly eye. He saw the disgust in her face. "See, even you are repulsed by me." He said storming after Laura.

Laura jumped as she saw him storming off..And towards her, she froze in fear before her eyes started widen when he was in front of her. Her eyes looked up at him before they slowly looked away..

She was preparing herself for anything..

He took her by the shoulders and made her look at him in the face. "Look at me Laura!! Look at me and tell me straight, do you not find this face repulsive now?! How could you even think I meant you with that comment." He said letting her go when she finally looked at him. He quietly put the patch back on.

Laura's eyes widened as she looked straight at him. When he was done, she yelled at him, "I DON'T THINK IT'S REPULSIVE NOW! IT NEVER WAS AND NEVER WILL BE! I-I..I just don't like that, that happened because of me! And..by how you had said that..I do repulse you..I-I.." Her eyes didn't leave his..eye, the tears started streaming, "You were and are never repulsive.."

He looked into her eyes. "You do know I would let him rip me into thousand pieces if it would mean saving you?" He pulled her to his arms. "I don't want to lose you."

Laura felt the tears stream down her face, she felt him pull her into his arms, "I-I don't want to lose you either." She said back to him.

He hugged her tighter. "Then don't leave me."

"I won't." She said, hearing her stomach growl. She laughed slightly, "I came down to the kitchen to eat, and I still hadn't eaten."

He smiled to her softly. "Lets get you some food then." He turned to walk with her to make some food for her. He laid the plate on the table, and sat oposite to her.

Laura ate slowly, enjoying the food. Her body was enjoying the food. She looked down, "How long was I in the coma?" She asked, looking up at Adam suddenly..

"A few days. I'm not sure. I didn't really leave your side that often. A few more days and I was going to take you to a hospital." He said softly to her. Trying not to make it sound like a big deal.
