Midnight Snack

Kitty headed to the Dining Room from where she had been in her room, room two to be exact. She sighed and stretched, she was hungry and needed some type of food in her. She was wearing a a set of pink pajama's with Hello Kitty featured on them. She headed for the fridge and pulled out a carton of milk, she was just about to take a sip when she heard someone come in. "Hello?" She called out.

After the Overseer dropped her off at the mansion, Ororo walked through the halls of the house, deciding to the get a snack before heading off to bed.
"Hello?"
She heard Kitty's voice as soon as she walked in and sighed deeply. "Kitty? You're getting a midnight snack too, I suppose."

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep after what happened in the garden earlier." she said and shuddered.

Storm went in the pantry and returned to the table with 2 NatureValley bars. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Kitty glanced down, "Some guy called the Overseer ambushed me while I was sitting on the bench and he...he tried to....he tried to." She started crying as tears fell down her face, "I've never been so embarressed." she sobbed.

Storm dropped one of the bars. *The Overseer visited Kitty too?! So our meeting wasn't an accident.* "Oh my goodness! It's all my fault. If only I had been with you. Kitty I am so sorry..." She reached over and hugged Kitty, wiping away her tears.

Kitty sniffed and pulled away, "Why are you sorry Storm? It was my fault, I shouldn't been right there anyway." She said and wiped her tears away.

"Nonsense, Kitty! This is your home! You are free to be wherever you want. It this Overseer that bugs me." She looked down at her bars in thought. *Could Kitty be the one he wants?* "Did he... did he touch you?" She whispered, glancing over at her.

Kitty swallowed hard, "Yeah...he uh pinned me to the wall and then I could feel his....thing against my leg. When I tried to run he grabbed my breast." She said and looked away, she felt disgusted just remembering what had happened.

Ororo grimaced at Kitty's description. She could almost picture every moment and was glad she saw a different side to this Overseer. "What happened next? Were you able to get away before he..." She trailed off, not really wanting to mention the unthinkable.

Kitty glanced down and nodded, "Flash saw me and managed to intervene before anything else happened. I had to phase us out of there though." she said and winced as her neck twinged in rememberence.

"Thank goodness for Wally's arrival..." Ororo sighed and sat in silence as she ate the rest of her bars. When she finished, she got up and threw away the wrappers. "I am glad you two were able to get away but Kitty, please be more cautious when you use your powers. I worry about what happens when we go against these things too much..." She was tempted to touch her collar but the memory of what happened to her when she did prevented her from doing so.
"On another note, I must excuse myself for I am very tired now." She looked back at Kitty as she was heading out the Dining Room. "I'll be in my room if you or anyone needs me. Good night, Kitty."
