No One Mourns the Innocent

Thomas took the two into his room, placing Bruce on the bed and Diana in a chair. He was partially worried, knowing that fainting during a pregnancy was not good. He needed Amanda's help to help the woman. He looked at his brother, before looking back at the door. He almost willed Amanda to knock on the door to need to talk to him.

Amanda wanted to see Thomas and walked to his room. She knocked and entered the room without waiting an answer. Amanda walked into the room, looking at Bruce on the bed and Diana on the chair. Her mouth hang open. "What did you do?" She asked looking at Thomas.

"She fainted on top of me and I stole Bruce." he said motioning her to shut the door, "I think there might be something seriously wrong with her." he gestured to Diana, feeling a bit worried. Something he never felt, he might have actually gained some respect for the woman, feeling as ill as she did yet staying up to watch over Bruce. It was a nice feeling. Thomas's eyes moved to look at Amanda, "And Bruce is here because Clark tried to rip my throat out of seeing my brother, so I felt he'd be safer here where I can watch him." He paused before speaking again, "If you tell anyone either of them are here, I will hunt down and kill Oliver. It's nothing personal but you know why I don't want anyone knowing."

She narrowed her eyes at his threath. "And if he dies, or she dies, I will kill you." She said closing the door, and going to Diana. Her pulse was fine. She looked over her shoulder to Thomas. "Should I take her to my room?"

Thomas nodded, "I'll be there in a few minutes if you take her. I doubt Clark will notice her gone for the time being, it's bothering me since she's showing signs my mother did." He let that one slip, unable to hide things from Amanda. He always felt the need to be honest to her, and only her to an extent.

Her eys softened, getting what he was saying. She picked Diana in her arms to take her to her room. "Okay, but don't kill Bruce. I mean it." She closed the door behind her.

"I don't think I will." he said solemnly, moving neck to Bruce, "I'll be back in a bit, we're going to see what's up with Diana." Thomas touched Bruce's arm giving it a squeeze. He could feel the heart beat and sighed, moving out of the room and locking the door. He could open it later.
