Father and son talk

Roy walked into the house again to look for Karim. He found the dog in the diningroom, he had gotten a drawer open and was munching on some food. "Bad dog." He said amused.

Oliver went inside, planning on going to the living. His plan changed after he heard a dog and a voice. He walked to the dining room seeing Roy and a dog. “Yes. Good dog.” He smiled at Roy. “Just the person I needed to speak with.”

Roy turned around to see Green Arrow. He crossed his arms on his chest. "I guess gongratulations are in order."

“So you heard. Who told you?” He saw that Roy wasn’t happy about it. Stubborn kid. He grinned.

He looked at Arrow in the eyes. "Your future wife. I met her in the garden when I came here." He narrowed his eyes at his adoptive father. "What happend to you?"

He smiled at Roy. “Midlife crisis?” He rolled his eyes. “Roy she isn’t evil. She even has hero potentials. I love her. And don’t even dare to start about she is a villain. Because if I’m correct your dating one yourself. And Artemis has also a boyfriend who was a former Villain.” He winked at him. “Archers attract villains. You can’t deny that.”

He arched his eyebrow. "You sure about her becoming a hero. She doesn't seem willing to become one. Are you just marrying her because she is carrying your child?" He asked defensively, ignoring the part about him and Jade.

He sighed. “No. I proposed her before I knew she was pregnant. I love her. Accept it.” He noticed Roy was ignoring his love situation. “Beside you are invited to the wedding. You are my son after all. Bring a date. Like Jade.” He said teasingly.

He took a stern face. "We are not in a relationship like that. Just sex, no emotions. And I am still not accepting her completely. But I will leave it be and just hope I won't be proven right about her."

Now it was Oliver’s turn to do something with his eyebrows. They went up. “What do you think of her than?”

"She is a dark woman, possibly dangerous. I think she is just after your money for one thing." He went to sit down on one of the chairs.

He laughed. “Trust me. She isn’t a gold digger. But I agree with the rest. She is dangerous. She is the universe twin of Diana.”

He sighed. "I just said that I will let you make your own mistakes, and hope you don't get burned."

He walked towards Roy. “Thanks. Same goes for you.” He hugged his adoptive son. He released him, looking him straight in the eyes. “Be nice to your stepmother.”

He didn't really apreciate the hug, but responded to it mechanically. "I will try, I'm not promising anything."

“Good Boy.” He went with his hands through Roy’s hair. “Still don’t like Hugs?” He asked teasingly.

He made a face. "Not really no." He pulled away from him.

He watched his son pull away from him. Was he that worse? “Roy. Do you still have a problem with me?”

Roy ran his fingers through his hair, making his hair like it was before. "We allways seem to have some problem."He crossed his arms on his chest. "So, how does the new wife and new child change things for me?"

“Nothing. You will still be my son. And you will be a member of a bigger family. If I die you may take my place. You may see the child as your little brother but I won’t force you. Neither do you have to see Amanda as your mother. Nothing changes for you. Expect if you want to.”

Roy arched his eyebrow. "So it's a boy then? Or do you wish it's a boy?" He looked down at the table. "And I won't be calling her mother anytime soon. The child is different. He or she has no choise over the matter who it's parents are."

“I don’t care the gender. I only hope that it will be healthy.” He looked at Roy tilting his head. “Does that also reveres to me? She isn’t evil. She is almost like you. Stubborn as hell and independent.”

He made a face. "No wonder I don't like her." He laughed slightly.

He shook his head. “I can’t change that opinion?”

Roy laughed. "I guess that is true. Why didn't you tell me about her before?" He asked meaning the meeting at the brotherhood mansion.
