Pregnant or Not?

Kitty had waited about two weeks after the incident with Lance before she approached Clark asking if he would check for her. Clark smiled down at her, "All right, lets head down to the Danger Room." He said as he got up from his seat. Kitty nervously glanced over at Wade and tried to smile but it was difficult. Biting her lip she followed Clark, "Its like really accurate right?" She asked. Clark turned to look back at her, "Don't worry Kitty it is." He said with a reassuring smile.

Wade saw the worried look on Kitty's face, he knew he had to be there with her. He had secretly been worried that she was pregnant. He didn't know what he would do, but he knew he would still love her.

"Come on Kitty, it'll be ok." He said as he took her in her arms.

Kitty slowly relaxed as Wade held her and smiled up at him, "Thanks." She whispered quietly. Clark didn't say anything but he waited patiently by the door to the Danger Room. Kitty slowly left the comfort of the Wade's arms to enter the Danger Room, "All right, I'm ready." She said as she turned to face Clark who followed Wade into the room.

Wade looked at Kitty, who looked like she was about to start crying and said, "Kitty, I whatever the outcome, I'm still going to love you." With that, Wade kissed Kitty and stepped out of the way.

"Go ahead Supes."

Kitty smiled up at Wade after he kissed her, "Oh Wade." She whispered and then looked over at Clark who smiled at her before he got a concentrated look in his eyes. Kitty knew that he was x-raying her, she bit her lip and waited anxiously until Clark met her eyes. The look told her everything, "I'm pregnant, aren't I?" She asked quietly. She sagged in shock and hugged Wade who came up to her, "Thank you Clark." She said quietly.

"I'm pregnant, aren't I?"

Wade's heart skipped a beat when Superman nodded his head. He didn't know how to dea; with this. He hugged Kitty and she buried her head in his chest.

"Come on Kitty, let's go back to your room."

Kitty nodded numbly and went with Wade up to her room, she couldn't believe she was pregnant with Lance's child. She was grateful Wade was with her, otherwise she might have lost it. She slowly crept onto her bed with one hand on her stomach, she was relieved when Wade got next to her.
