Getting Breakfast

Kitty smiled over at Flash, remembering his comment about how much food he was going to eat. "So what do you think she'll eat?" she asked Flash, and thought about making some of her special muffins.

"I don't know. Maybe something light, not too greasy." He said as he moved to the pantry taking out this and that again. He took out bacon and sausages, whipping out a frying pan ad putting it on the heat. Putting 10 straps of bacon and 10 sausages on there. While that was going on he took out a plate and a knife and fork and a glass. He plated the meat, and cracked 10 eggs on the pan. After those were done he palted them too and started eating. "Just don't make her the same meal I eat." He said his mouth full of food. He poured some orange juice into his glass and drank it.

Kitty laughed and stared in amazement at how much food Flash was ingesting, "Where do you put it all?" she asked with a laugh.

He looked at his plate. "Well it's the result of my lab accident. I got these powers, and as an added bonus I got a high metabolism. I have to eat alot to keep functioning, if that makes sense." He said taking an other mouthfull.

As Logan and Kara walked down the hall to the Dinning Room, Logan's mind kept replying the later part of the night before.

When he thought about her lips on his, his lips started to tingle from the memory. His thoughts were pushed aside when they entered the Dinning room where Flash and Kitty were talking.

Kara was looking straight ahead, feeling the warmth every time she thought of the kiss. Her heart fluttered, though her thoughts were interrupted when she saw Kitty and Flash. And when her side decided to sting a bit, making her grab her side fast. Wincing her whole body a bit.

"Oh hey guys! I was just wondering what to make you for breakfast Kara, do some of my muffins sound good?" she asked brightly. She noticed Kara wince and hurried forward, "Are you all right Kara?" she asked

Flash lifted his gaze from his breakfast, when he heard Kitty worry about Kara. He had a slice of bacon hanging from the corner of his mouth. He looked at Kara conserned. "Are you okay?"

Logan put his arm around her, helping her to stay standing. "Looks like you're not as ready as we thought." He said, grumbling before helping her into a chair.

Kara looked up at them, "I'm fine...Just really stiff and sore.." When Logan put his arm around her, she looked up at him as he spoke to her, "I'm sorry..And anything is fine..Really."

"Sit." He order, pushing her into the chair, gently. "Get her some water to start off with and beef. Unless you're a vegetarian?" He asked, never knowing nowadays.

Kitty nodded and turned to make some food, her eyes though landed on Flash, she giggled "You look very dashing, sir the bacon just adds a nice touch." she said in between giggles.

He put the bacon in his mouth. Grinning wide. "You know it Kit Kat. Maybe you have the hot's for me." He said it glancing at Logan, knowing it would tick him off.

Logan rolled his eyes at Flash as he turned away from Kara. "Do you really want to get hurt, Speed?" He asked, before getting up and getting Kara a glass of water.

He set the glass down beside her, before looking for something that would help her get her strength back.

"Hey, Half-Pint, we got any hamburger meat or something? She needs red meat to bring back the blood that she's lost."

Kitty giggled before nodding and turning to the freezer, "Wait do you mean you want the meat raw?" she asked slightly grossed out at the idea of Kara eating raw meat.

Logan gave her a look. "No, Half-Pint, I want to cook it." He said, rolling his eyes. "Cow meat is read beef. Don't they teach you anything in that high school of yours?" He asked.

Kitty had to think about it, "Well...for some reason the cooking classes always tend to just go in one way and out the other if you get my drift." She said with a smile before getting a package of frozen hamburger meat out.

"Right..." He said, slowly, before taking the frozen hamburger meat from her hands. "Why don't you sit down and eat your breakfast, Kitty; let me cook Kara's food." He said, grabbing a skillet to cook the meat in.

Kitty smiled at him before sitting next to Flash, she grabbed a plate and filled it up with eggs and pancakes, "So Mr. Logan where did you learn to cook?" she asked.

"Japan, Brazil, during the wars." He stated, as he turned on the stove and put the meat in it to defrost. He grabbed two forks and started tearing apart the meat in the skillet. He added seasoning to it, before cracking a few eggs and adding them to the meat.

He stirred it up and placed the food on a big plate. He grabbed another plate and placed a good amount on the plate, before setting it in front of Kara. He set the big plate in the middle of the table, before sitting down next to Kara to eat.

"Wow, that sounds amazing!" She gushed and ate her food with relish, she didn't realize she was so hungry until she started eating.

Logan took a bite of his food and swallowed. "Yeah, learned a lot of things besides cooking." He said, before taking a drink of his coffee.

{OOC: I know I didn't put him getting coffee, but I forgot until now o.e forgive me? :3}

[Ooc, I had Kitty magically get pancakes so its fine ^^ XD]
Kitty swallowed her food, "Like what?" she asked curiously as she cut up some of her pancake.

Kara had stayed quiet, letting them talk and laughed at their jokes for a while. When Logan put a drink in front of her she took a sip of it face. When he put her food in front of her, her eyes widened, "Whoa that's a lot of food." She laughed, starting to eat it. Every once and a while she would wince in pain, but she kept eating. So many things ran through her head.

Was it a good or bad thing to kiss him? Would everything work out? Would everything ever be the same..And most importantly..How would they escape..And did he really have to sleep at the medical lab again.

Out of the corner of his eye, Logan watched Kara as she ate. Whenever she winced, his eyes would glance down at her side.

He felt a dull ache in his neck as his healing powers kept trying to heal his neck while the collar tried to prevent it by shocking him. He had to resist the urge to rub his neck, which wouldn't have done any good because of the damn collar.

He couldn't believe that guy was the "Overseer". How the hell did he get powers? Next time Wolverine catches him anywhere near the others or him, the "Overseer" won't be able to have any "fun" with the girls.

He grunted a little from the shock in his neck. He better get to the Danger Room.

He set his fork down and stood up from the table. "I'll finish that later, I'm heading to the Danger Room for a while." He said, before glancing at Kara.

"Come on, Kara." He said, pushing in his chair and walking to the door.
