Apples and oranges

Superwoman walked in the hero house, not really bothering to sneak around anymore. She went straight to the fridge and took out some suplies to make a sandwich. She finished the product and started to eat.

Bruce walked in to the Kitchen raising an eyebrow at Amanda, "Do I even want to know?"

She heard Bruce come in, and grinned widely. "What?! The fridge in the Brotherhood is as bare as Siberia. You want me to starve?" She asked hopping on the counter and taking a bite off of her sandwich.

"I seriously doubt you'll starve. Just get some mindless zombies to bring you a mini fridge with food stocked daily or you'll rip them to pieces?" He said throwing the idea out there, he wasn't thinking straight with his mind on other things.

She had her eyes wide as she looked at him. "Wow, that is something I didn't expect you to say." She crossed her legs one ontop of the other. "I don't know if I should be honored or hurt by that." She said amused. "So how are you after the match?"

"I'm currently having a running streak with doing things people aren't expecting." he said dryly, grabbing a cup of coffee from the machine. Bruce sighed looking at Amanda, he wasn't as bad as he remembered her, "I don't remember the last part of it. I remember my bat-a-rang going into my throat... then nothing."

She smirked. "Well I remember it well. Your bat-a-rang flying at Scarecrow and killing the bastard." She swinged her legs in the air. "So how are you now days?"

"Could be much better and human." He muttered out, sipping his coffee. Making a face when it wasn't as good as he remembered it as.

She raised her eyebrow at him. "And you are not?"

Bruce paused, he really needed to remember to think his thoughts when Chloe and him were far enough apart, "No." was all he said. He didn't feel like explaining everything all of over again.

She narrowed her eyes in confusion. "Then what are you? Don't tell me you turned into a vampire or something, that would be kind of ironic." She giggeled a little.

"Then let the irony commence." he said dryly, well he wasn't technically one but it would be fun to mess with her.

She was taking a bite of her sandwich and almost choked on it. She coughed a bit and looked at him in shock. "No way!! Seriously?! Wow.... that makes you the second vampire I met here." She said slowly eating the piece and swallowing it. "How did that happen?"

"Second? You met Jubilee then." He thoughts to himself, "But it's easy, Jubilee was possessed and she attacked my girlfriend in turn who attacked me. I'm not sure what the hell happened after that, I think I died and here I am?" Bruce said, sighing out, "But I'm still me, I could already do... almost everything a vampire did on sheer training alone, but now I can run a lot faster and read minds." He almost groaned out the last part, but he was learning to deal with it. It wasn't as bad as it seemed sometimes.

She nodded when he asked had she met Jubilee. "Yep, she took some of my blood. Told me I was delicious." She said giggling. She nodded understaning what he was saying. She then narrowed her eyes. "If you read my mind I'll make you eat garlic."

"Said the same thing about my blood, told my girlfriend she was going to turn me into a boy-toy." Bruce winced after saying it, "Though the bite was ridiculously intoxicating." he mused aloud. He laughed when she made a garlic joke, "Just try me." He said, convinced he didn't have a garlic weakness. Hell, he hadn't even used his fangs yet.

She smirked. "I know, it feels good. Almost as good as sex." She said grinning as she finished her sandwich. "So, have you bitten anyone yet?"

"I know." He mused aloud, but pausing, "That didn't come out right." He sighed out, "But no... I haven't bitten anyone, haven't even felt the need to either." He said, wondering if there was something wrong with him.

She smiled amused at his lapsus. "It's ok Brucie I get what you mean." She hopped off the counter. "If you ever need to, I have a pulse. Just don't drink all of it, I need some of it to live." She said grinning.

"No thanks, I don't need it to live." Bruce said lightly, waving her off. Knowing he might piss his off a little bit.

She shrugged her shoulders. "Fine." She leaned against the counter. "So anything else that is new? Everytime I see you there is something new." She said tilting her head a little.

"I'm starting to see this, actually. Maybe it's about time we stop seeing each other." He meant it jokingly of course, "But what's been up with you? You wreak of Oliver." He asked.

She laughed. "No wonder. The sex is amazing, and I like him alot too ofcourse." She said smiling to herself. "Jealous?" She asked winking at him.

Bruce shrugged, "Not really, again I have a girlfriend now... mind you she's Oliver's ex which somewhat makes it weird, but hey the Robin Hood persona usually makes girls fall for him. Just like being the quiet, brooding, and handsome." He winked, smirking lightly. He wasn't jealous but he was happy he took his advice, granted she might not have remembered it but he told her she needed someone.

She nodded. "Oh yeah, I met her once. Put up quite a fight." She said smirking. "Oh don't worry it was nothing serious. Just sparring." She smiled again softly to herself. "I don't know if it's the type, but he is good to me." She then toughened up a bit. "Unlike Owlman, but that is another story."
